The programme
Our tree planting programme brought together students from 12 schools across Ogun State to plant 100 native trees in and around their campuses.
Learning by planting
Before planting, students joined workshops on how trees cool neighborhoods, hold soil in place, and protect farmland from erosion. Each class adopted a tree and committed to caring for it.
Every tree we plant today is shade for the next generation
What's next
Teachers tell us the project has sparked new conversations about climate at home. We're now working to extend the programme to more schools next year.
